Well today is going to be a busy day getting ready for our family Christmas Eve dinner tonight.  It's our turn to host so time is short today as we get the final prep work done.  Looks like our Michigan weather is going to cooperate today so no major snow, thankfully.  I just wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas.  Thanks to all our customers and friends who support us throughout the year.  I hope your holiday time is an enjoyable one.

Well we are really happy that our Holiday Snow Boy diaper cake received a full page spread in the December 2010 edition of American Baby magazine.  I wrote earlier that the snow boy and snow girl diaper cakes were inspired by my love of snowmen.  For many years I have enjoyed holiday snowman decorations of all shapes and sizes.  I probably have at least 40 different types of snowmen.  Some are made of glass, some are the plush type, and then some are just simple decorations that I use to decorate for the holidays.  I was thinking one day, that I should create a holiday diaper cake featuring a snowman theme so I sat down and just started putting some ideas together.  The design shown in American Baby is the boy version of my design. I then changed out the colors to pink so we could offer a matching design for girls.

Both holiday diaper cake designs are available on our website now along with a few other holiday creations.  I hope you like them.  As usual, your thoughts and comments are always welcome.

Holiday Diaper Cake Sneak Peek

I thought I would put together a quick post highlighting our 2010 holiday diaper cakes.  Still putting the finishing touches on them but getting closer.  I hope you enjoy these creations. Our Lil' Honeypot 3 Tier Diaper Cake

Stork Baby Shower Centerpieces Using Mini Tickled Blue Diaper Cakes

I really love this idea for a baby shower centerpiece.  One of our customers was planning a shower for a new grandbaby and ordered six of our Mini Tickeled Blue Diaper Cakes for a baby shower.  I worked with her to create a coordinating 4 tier diaper cake to match with the rest of the minis.  This created a larger focal point on the table.  She then added her own additions with the white baby stork on top of three of the cakes.  Having the blue minis on a white tablecloth just adds a touch of class with the blue and white colors providing such nice contrast.  There's no doubt in my mind all the guests saw this as the focal point decoration for the baby shower.

I was excited to see the pictures she sent and enthusiasm in her voice getting ready for the shower.  I wanted to share this you because I think this vignette is absolutely adorable.
